A Super Strand of Eight Water Icosahedra

Eight complete but overlapping icosahedral water clusters form this super-icosahedral strand  containing 1750 water molecules. Only the oxygen atoms are shown (43 KB)

 

 

• Menu:Click (right) mouse button (Mac: hold down) for options; for example,  molecular rendering, stop spinning, retrieve coordinates (File Save Molecule As).
• Rotate: Drag (left) mouse button.
• Zoom: Drag (left ) mouse button + Shift.
• Pan: Drag (right) mouse button + Ctrl (Mac: + Command).

 

The Chime plug-in (3 MB) is available for Windows and Macintosh.
