Alternative Icosahedral Water Clusters

Tesselated dodecahedral water clusters, (H₂O)₁₃₀.

Tessellated icosahedron of 12 dodecahedral structures surrounding a central dodecahedron, all separated from each other by a pentagonal box; (H₂O)₆₅₀.

All the water hydrogen atoms have been removed to simplify the animations.

Menu: Click (right) mouse button (Mac: hold down) for options; for example, molecular rendering, stop spinning, retrieve coordinates (File Save Molecule As).
Rotate: Drag (left) mouse button.
Zoom: Drag (left ) mouse button + Shift.
Pan: Drag (right) mouse button + Ctrl (Mac: + Command).

The Chime plug-in (3 MB) is available for Windows and Macintosh.
